Iamena has long viewed the private sector as an integral partner in fulfilling its 2030 agenda to promote sustainable development in tourism. We believe that the public and private sectors share many common objectives that, in today's globalized world, can be more effectively addressed through joint collaboration and partnership building. By bringing together more than 300 businesses, education and research institutions, destinations and NGOs, the affiliate members provide a space for members to engage in a dialogue, share information and take further action. Its main mission is to promote synergies between associate members and promote the exchange of knowledge between key stakeholders with the aim of contributing to the promotion of sustainable tourism.

What do we offer?
  • Interactive platform

    The Affiliate Members provide an interactive platform for members to communicate and encourage collaboration and is available exclusively to Affiliate Members.

  • Networking

    The #ReseTourism network serves as a location for active collaboration where affiliate members can communicate, share and access relevant information. In addition, they can take advantage of the platform to generate, disseminate and apply specialized knowledge to take advantage of the great potential to address pressing tourism-related issues of common interest from a variety of sectors. Our working groups are open to members who wish to exchange expertise on specific tourism segments.

  • ReseTourism Newsletter

    The newsletter is a service that allows members to share their initiatives and projects with members, connect with potential business partners and promote their services among other members.

  • Use of the logo

    Upon formal approval, Affiliates are permitted, and encouraged, to include #ReseTourism logo and hashtag on their website to publicize their membership.

  • Publications and reports

    The publications of the associate members, produced jointly with interested associate members, address topics of interest from the perspective of public-private partnerships to support knowledge development in tourism. Based on a compilation of affiliate member case studies and real-world examples, they can serve as a model for many destinations and businesses.
